OUR VISION
The Alta Badia Art & Film Festival (ABAFF) is an exciting new cultural event set in one of the world's most breathtaking regions — a place that has never hosted a festival of this kind until now. This year's theme, "Climbing the Metaphorical Mountaintop – Stories of Overcoming Adversity and Challenge", celebrates the spirit of resilience and determination, both in life and in art. ABAFF brings together visionary filmmakers and artists whose work embodies the courage to push boundaries, inspiring audiences to conquer their own peaks — both literal and symbolic.
A Celebration of Culture & Heritage ABAFF highlights the unique linguistic and cultural tapestry of Alta Badia, where Italian, German, and Ladin coexist. This rare blend of traditions offers a powerful opportunity to promote the region’s rich heritage and the filmmakers who draw inspiration from it. We bring renowned international talent to Alta Badia, introducing them to local traditions while welcoming filmmakers who are passionate about preserving their cultural identities.
Celebrate diversity and emerging talent.
Support regional languages and culture.
Protect the environment and raise awareness.
Inspire with masterclasses and local engagement.

ATMOSPHERE
& ACCESS
Celebrities and local talent come together in a stunning mountaintop cinema and lounge, designed to foster authentic connections and creativity and showcase Alta Badia’s extraordinary local cuisine. A cozy lodge-style atmosphere encourages engagement between talent, brands, and audiences, with organic activations that feel natural and inspired.

TALENTS
& IMPACT
The festival is a platform for new voices — fostering talent, creativity, and dialogue. Through masterclasses with renowned international filmmakers, we support the next generation of storytellers. By encouraging local participation and offering free access, we create cultural value that reaches far beyond the screen.
BUILDING A MOVEMENT
Establish ABAFF as a catalyst for a larger movement that transcendes regional borders, inspiring similar initiatives across the alpine region and beyond.
Gage local and global audiences in meaningful conversations about the intersection of film, culture, and environmental responsibility - creating a ripple effect that encourages collective action.
